Endless night
For 57 years, the Rockland brand has epitomized high-end shopping at its best.
To establish momentum prior to a redevelopment, a one-of-a-kind celebration would demonstrate to media, signature retailers and leasing prospects that Rockland remains a fashion leader with an exciting and enduring future.

Rockland would demonstrate its
brand commitment by securing world renowned fashion model Coco Rocha, Montreal’s own lifestyle maven, Geneviève Borne and international Relais and Chateaux restaurateur Jérôme Ferrer as its new creative collaborators. While these three would inspire Rockland’s 2017 consumer campaign, they would be introduced to media and retailers first, at an unforgettable symbiotic gourmet banquet tantalizing sight, sound and exquisite taste.
Fashion: the internationally renowned model Coco Rocha has walked down the fashion runways in all of the world’s capitals for the most famous designers. Coco Rocha is actively engaged on several social platforms and has over 3.2 million social channel followers across the globe.
Food: Chef – a haute cuisine master originally from France and founder of world famous Europea, a Relais & Chateaux restaurant – Jérôme’s passion for good taste aligns with the Rockland brand. Throughout the years, Jérôme has opened several gourmet restaurants, among the best in Montreal
Lifestyle: Geneviève is a renowned Montreal style shaper, model and voice of the local fashion scene. Her love for Arts and Music quickly propelled her into the arts scene. Geneviève is known for being a VJ at Musique Plus, and acted as a spokesperson for the Festival de Mode & Design de Montréal and magazine Clin d’œil. Her love for travel and photography have taken her all over the planet.
Le Banquet would be a night to remember.Coco Rocha
would select statement pieces from Rockland’s signature retailers for a high-style runway show, Geneviève would spin inspired music as live DJ for the event, and Jérôme would delight with exquisite haute cuisine. 46 VVIP guests, included 15 influential media and bloggers, attended the exclusive soiree.
Thank you again for the invitation! It was a great evening and I was delighted to meet you and the ambassadors! Margaux Clément, Marketing and Public Relations Specialist. Judith & Charles
Taking advantage of its captive audience, before the banquet, a private reception provided Rockland with the ultimate opportunity to introduce its inspirational collaborators and unveil its future vision to a select list of 11 leasing teams (brokers, executives) representing highly influential fashion brands).
IThe event was fantastic in every way shape and form, executed perfectly. It was truly indicative of the vision that Cominar has for Rockland. […] I was honoured to have been chosen to attend and as always, look forward to working closely with Cominar. - Corey Bessner, CEO, Core Consultants Realty
I had the chance to have a drink, discuss each of the ambassador's roles in this new project as well as to take some selfies. The evening continued where I had the most fancy dinner experience of my life. - Charles-Olivier Duchesne, Le Cahier
An exclusive pre-banquet cocktail reception provided the
Rockland team with an intimate setting to introduce the centre’s alignment with its new collaborators to the media and key influencers.
The table had been set.
It was time to reveal Le Banquet. A show like no other would enchant and surprise Rockland’s special guests. Decor transformed a vacant space into a stunning dining room, and once inside, guests were transported to a world of classic elegance, exquisitely appointed with crystal, evergreen and illuminated by magnificent chandeliers.
Like a tastings menu pairs food and wine,
each of Rockland’s banquet courses was a fusion of food, music and fashion: Themed scenes like “Winter Sparkles” paired Swarovski crystal and winter white signature pieces from Marie Saint Pierre and Stuart Weitzman while guests enjoyed foie gras and lobster.
Magnificent! It was delicious frankly I have never eaten so well. And the models, WOW! They were all beautiful and so chic! - Orly, Maska store manager
A Touch of Velvet
runway scene married Leonard Cohen and decadent Risotto and Atlantic shrimp with richly appointed statement collections by Judith & Charles and Michael Kors.
Le Banquet brought together all the successes of the center’s last campaigns: Fashion, music, elegance and good food! The number of guests was limited enough to make you feel truly at an exclusive event. I loved it! Lolitta Dandoy, blogger - “Fashion is Everywhere”
The real show stopper
– the format of the runway show. Crisp white dining tables doubled as the fashion runway, surprising guests when models took to the catwalk… at table level. Wow!
The Banquet event at Rockland shopping center was a memorable one. The venue was beautifully decorated and the food was out of this world. Congratulations to the entire Rockland team. This was definitely a class act affair in which Browns was proud to support!
Annie Cohen, Buyer - Clothing & Accessories, Senior Marketing Manager - Stores and Media, Browns Shoes
Le Banquet
was a virtual fashion feast re-affirming Rockland’s status as an upscale and progressive fashion destination – generating high profile articles in the most influential fashion publications. Creating tremendous buzz in the industry, Le Banquet earned 8.4m+ fashion-focused impressions through conventional and social channel amplification.

Guests were awe-struck by this exquisite up close
and personal fashion experience, spurring instantaneous social chatter before, during, and after the show reaching a captive audience of 390k fashion followers.
Rockland managed to create a magical atmosphere under a white canopy for a banquet to introduce its holiday season muses. Organizers put together an inspired guest list, affording lively conversation and interesting new encounters. - Eva Friede, blogger “The Constant Shopper,” former fashion editor of the Montreal Gazette
Alignment with Rockland’s
three collaborators greatly enhanced visibility and brand profile. All three actively engaged with their social networks numerously, attaining a social media reach of 11.5m+.
Le Banquet’s intimate
setting and exclusive guest list encouraged cross-industry connections and forged solid relationships with the Rockland team and partners for future initiatives - a major coup, setting the table for the ambitious redevelopment on the horizon, and reassuring to key players that a spectacular future is in store at Rockland.
It was a great evening. Rockland is really in the right direction, looking forward to seeing the rest! - Eugene Diaz, Store Manager, Stuart Weiztman
As a direct result of the evening – the Cabinet Éphémère, a
fashion incubation boutique celebrating Quebec’s designers collections has relocated its exclusive concept store from Ogilvy's (Holt Renfrew's sister banner) to Rockland.
