„Nanorobots building Proteins“
Find Molecules Build Proteins
www.eurobot.org
The Robots • 1 Robot per Team • 120cm / 140cm • Obstacle Avoidance
www.eurobot.org
The Table Like this year: • 300 x 210 cm • Start Areas • Colours
New next year: • Goal Area • Nets • Molecule Dispensers
www.eurobot.org
Molecules • Molecules are modelled as balls • Floorballs? (to be tested)
• 45 molecules total • 12 on table (fixed + random) • 33 in molecule dispensers
www.eurobot.org
Proteins • Red Proteins
• Blue Proteins
• 2 Red Proteins
www.eurobot.org
Goal Area
• 2 sloped sides: red side, blue side • Flat middle part for both teams • Push or lift molecules into goal area • Corners are open, flat with the table • Border is low
www.eurobot.org
Goal Area • No removing molecules • Inserting is ok
• Middle is covered • Pushing is ok • Can „push out“ opponent molecules www.eurobot.org
Nets • Nets for throwing the molecules
• Molecules roll from the nets down into the goal area
www.eurobot.org
Molecule Dispensers • 5 total molecule dispensers • 2 for white molecules • 1 for red molecules • 1 for blue molecules
• These allow the robot to remove one molecule at a time www.eurobot.org
Molecule Dispensers • 1 mixed dispenser (5 red, 5 blue, 3 white) • Activated by robot • All molecules released at the same time
www.eurobot.org
Scoring • Molecules score points • Proteins score extra points!
• Common middle part of goal area scores extra points • ‚Reversal‘ is possible, by pushing the balls
