Flow Chart of set FISC CDH to User Level Security in Novell

Login to FISC-CDH Administration page

Click “Network Setting” of Administration page

Click “Netware” & also Enable Netware Network box

Enable “Authentication by Bindery Server” allow authenticate with Novel Server

Check NCP for legal login user name & password.

Fill in the “Bindery Server, Login Name and Login Password”.

Click “Apply” to complete

The system will ask to “Reboot”

Set FISC CDH to User Level Security in Novell Requirement • •

Novel bindery server must start and running. A legal bindery user account name and password.

Configuration steps. 1. Login to Administration Page of FISC-CDH. 2. Click “Network Settings” from the “Administration Page”.

3. Click “NetWare” menu and then Enable Netware Network. 4. Enable the Security Mode for Authentication by Bindery Server. 5. Fill in the Bindery Server, Login name and Login Password. (Note: Login name and password have to be existed in the Novel server, the user account will allow FISC-CDH to pick the entire user account list.) 6. Click “Apply” and the system will ask to reboot.

Login to FISC-CDH Administration page

Click “Share Manager” of Administration page

Choose a share name, and click “Set” button.

Choose the “Netware” menu bar to view the current user list.

Choose a User and click “Add” to add to permission list. The administrator can also set the permission for each user.

Click “Apply” to complete

Add a NCP Remote User on FISC CDH When user level security configuration is set. Next step is to set permission for each user. Steps below will give you a general idea. 1. Click “Share Manager” menu from the Administration page. 2. Choose the “Share Name” and click “Set” button. 3. Click “Netware” menu bar.
