EAA SOCIETIES INDIVIDUAL MEMBER ACCESS PROCEDURE From January 2011 the procedure for getting online access to the content of Acta Acustica united with Acustica has changed in view of the EAA decision to grant access to the journal articles for all individual members. 0. Before beginning: Access your personal account on the SFA website https://intranet.sfa.asso.fr/SFA/. Click on “Acta Acustica en ligne”. Get your personal activation key in red. The activation key looks like this: 90-1234567 (note: this example key will not grant you access). 1. First time access (activation): In your internet browser, open the Acta Acustica united with Acustica website: www.acta-acusticaunited-with-acustica.com. Click on “EAA Member login”. You will get a screen where the above mentioned activation key should be entered. Note that you can use the activation key only once. Click on “Register”. You will then be asked to choose a username (e-mail address) and password and to enter some personal information. Please enter this information carefully since it will be used to check your membership in future years. You will receive an e-mail asking for confirmation from Acta Acustica united with Acustica. Click on the link indicated in it in order to confirm your registration. Your access to the Journal will be granted only after your reception, from Acta Acustica united with Acustica, of your confirmation. 2. Subsequent access: After activation, you will have full access to all manuscripts published in Acta Acustica united with Acustica since issue 82 (1996). Access http://www.acta-acustica-united-with-acustica.com. Click on "EAA member login" and enter your username (e-mail address) and the password you have provided during the activation phase. This access will be granted as long as you remain a member of an Acoustics Society that is a member of the EAA. If you have forgotten your password, please click on the appropriate button and the password will be sent to your registered email address.

FAQ Transition period: If you had access to Acta Acustica united with Acustica prior to January 1st 2011 via a username and password at IngentaConnect, you can continue using them until the end of March 2011. Nevertheless do not wait to activate the new access method in order to prevent loss of access to Acta Acustica united with Acustica later in 2011. As soon as you will use the activation key, the old user name and password will be cancelled. User name: Your user name should be your email address for practical purposes. If you change it, please contact Hirzel Verlag and they will change your user name to reflect the new email address.
