This rider is hereby attached and made part of the contract for Gregory Porter !
1. Deposit/Payment All monies due and payable on the night of performance shall be paid with a certified check or cash to Loop Productions in Europe. Form of payment should be agreed in advance with management.
2. Billing/Other Artists The correct billing for Artist, applicable in all promotional materials shall be:
Gregory Porter The artist shall be given 100% top star billing in any and all paid advertisements and publicity, including, but not limited to posters, fliers, programmes, signs, marquees and banners.

3. Recording/Photography There will be absolutely NO AUDIO RECORDINGS, VIDEO RECORDINGS OR RADIO BROADCASTS during said performance unless prior written permission is granted by Artist or Artist’s representative. All cassette recorders or other unauthorized taping equipment shall be confiscated by Purchaser and held until completion of performance. If Purchaser does not check in that equipment, artist or Artist’s representative allows themselves to do so. Tapes will be confiscated and erased on the premises if possible. There will be no flash photography during performance. Non flash photographies are permitted during the show on the first three numbers only.
4. Transportation/Hotel In addition to the agreed transportation/hotel accommodation provisions of the Contract, the Purchaser agrees to provide transportation (a van for the equipment and personal luggage, and a luxury vehicle for all musicians and travelling party) from airport/train station as well as a person to meet the artist immediately upon arrival in town. These vehicles are to be made available for all local transportation to and from the venue and on day of departure as well. All hotel accommodations will be in a deluxe class hotel (four stars minimum) near the place of performance, a number of 1 executive room and 5 single rooms for 1 night free of charge for the band. These rooms should be equipped with telephone and cable television (inclusive of CNN) in each room as well as a restaurant in the hotel. In either case, hotel should always be confirmed with the Artist’s representative before final booking. 5. Set Up and Rehearsal On the first day of the performance, the place of the performance will be made available to the Artist for technical setup and rehearsal 2 hours before prior to the time of first performance. Purchaser will provide the house electrician, house sound technician, monitor technician and a minimum of one stagehand/loader/unloader at that time. One loader/unloader will also be made available to Artist during load-out following the performance. The audience will not be permitted in room until setup rehearsal is completed Purchaser will provide all equipment as per the backline list and stage plot. Purchaser’s initials.....................

6. Dressing Rooms/Security Two (2) dressing rooms adequate for use by 6 people. The dressing rooms should be made available from the arrival of the Artists for Setup until the end of the performance. Said rooms shall be well lit, clean and comfortable seating for 5 people. They should have easy access to clean lavatories or better have lavatories inside the dressing rooms. They should be able to lock and they should contain the following: Gregory Porter’s Dressing Room : 2 clean towels 1 Bottle of White Wine 3 Bottles of non-carbonated spring 4 cans of Coca Cola light Or Coca Cola Zero Hot Tea and Coffee 1 Salad containing lettuce, avocado, tomatoes etc…no meat please (salad sauce on the side please) Assorted Fruit platter with Bananas, Oranges, Pears etc...for 2 people Flowers are appreciated…. Band’s Dressing Room : 4 Clean Towels 12 Local beers 12 Bottles of non-carbonated spring/distilled water (ie Evian, Vittel) 2 Bottles of real (100% pure) fruit Juice (Orange, Apple, Grapefruit) 2 liters of Coca Cola light Hot Tea and Coffee Assorted Fruit platter with Bananas, Oranges, Pears etc...for 5 people Mixed snacks Purchaser will provide a hot « sit down » diner for five (6) people at a restaurant. Time of diner should be negotiated with Tour Manager but usually happens before the show. Purchaser will guarantee proper security to all musicians, instruments and their personal property before, during and after the performance (s). Special attention is to be paid to the dressing rooms, stage areas and all entrances and exits. Proper security will commence upon the Artist’s arrival.
7. Use of Artist Name/Interviews The name of the artist may not be used or associated, either directly or indirectly with any product or service without the Artist’s written permission. Pre-Tour of Tour interviews can be granted by sending requests to the Artist’s representative, Loop Productions. Request must include the following information: Name of person who will conduct interview Name of publication or Radio/TV station Phone Number/address of interviewer Purchaser’s initials...............

Type and place of interview/Length of proposed interview Artist availability for interviews can not be guaranteed. Purchaser agrees that he will not commit Artist to any personal appearances, interviews or any other type of promotional appearance without Artist or Artist’s representative permission.
9. Complimentary tickets Upon request, the Purchaser will provide the Artist with 12 complimentary tickets. For a seated performance, they should be in the first ten rows. For a standing performance they should be a general admission with priority entrance to the venue.
10. Miscellaneous Artist has 100% control of the performance. Artist shall not be required to perform before any audience which is segregated on the basis of race, creed or colour, national origin age disability or sexual preference. Artist’s obligation hereunder are subject to detention or prevention by sickness, inability to perform, accident, transportation delays, acts of God, labour difficulties, dissimilar, beyond Artist’s control. In the event of a breach by Purchaser of any terms, covenants, or conditions of this rider, Artists shall not be required to perform hereunder and Purchaser shall pay Artist the full amount of the fixed payments. Purchaser shall provide Artist’s representative with Original copies of all press releases, fliers, posters, articles and reviews pertaining to the engagement within a week after the performance. In case of any conflict of terms, the terms in this rider will prevail over any other. All terms of this rider are specifically accepted by Purchaser unless they are waived by Artist or Artist’s representative. Such waiver shall be effective only if initiated by both Artist or his representative and Purchaser.
11. Arbitration Any breach of or controversy or claim arising from this engagement, if any, may be settled at the discretion of the Artist by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such arbitration will take place in New York, New York. The judgement and/or award rendered by the arbitrators may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

12. Sound/Musical Equipment supplied by the Purchaser One first class sound and lighting system suitable for the performance space and including the following: 24 channel mixing board (with six separate monitor equalised mixes). 6 on stage monitors, 12 high quality microphone including a RE 20 for the bass 3 DI boxes 1 microphone for the saxophone Experienced JAZZ sound technician Professional quality (Steinway preferred) acoustic grand piano model D tuned to A 440 on day of performance prior to the sound check and again immediately prior to performance, with adjustable bench. 1 Hammond Organ Clone such as Hammond XK-1 or XK-3 (preferred), or Roland VK-7 or VK-8 + one expression (volume) pedal AND a sustain pedal ! 1 Keyboard Amplifier like Roland Amp 1 Professional Upright Bass with adjustable bridge & pick up.
