Article for school magazine by Thomas Why do we recycle ? We recycle, for the well-being of our planet, which is in danger by millions of tons of waste that we produce each day, but also to avoid that the natural resources are all used up. For example, all glass and aluminium packages can be recycled at 100%. Other materials can also be recycled, such as paper, cardboard and steel, they are transformed then used as something else, like food tins that are made into paper clips, pans, trolleys or even keys. There are other types of waste.
A walk for nature Clara, a pupil from 5 A, said: "The clean up of the Jaguère made me change my habits. When I see a paper in the street, I pick it up and throw it into the litter bin. But I didn't really like collecting waste because it made me tired. Anyway, I'm happy to have helped the planet."
