3. The coach will have a bayonet-type fitting with a cap (Fig. 3). Remove the cap.
Tools required:
• 10” Hacksaw • ABS Glue • Sandpaper
Installation
1. Female cam lock (Fig. 1) affixes to terminal end of coach plumbing and replaces bayonet fitting.

4. Cut off the 4 tabs with a hacksaw (Fig. 4).

2. Male cam lock fitting comes pre-installed on the end of the 4:1 compression hose (Fig. 2).

5. Use sandpaper to get a smooth surface and to remove any burrs remaining after cutting off the tabs (Fig. 5).
7. Insert the male cam lock cap (Fig. 7A) into the female cam lock with the arms on the female cam lock in the open position. 8. Lock the cam lock cap in place by pushing the arms down against the sides of the female cam lock.

6. Apply the ABS glue to the pipe at the coach. Apply ABS glue to the female cam lock fitting and apply another swipe of glue to the pipe at the coach (Fig. 6). Take the cam lock fitting and push it on the pipe, turn approximately 90 degrees to the final position (Fig. 7) and hold in place for 30 seconds.

9. To install hose, remove male cam lock cap and insert the male end of the hose and lock into place.
NOTE: The waste pipe is ABS pipe. Use approved glue for ABS piping. Do not use glue for PVC or CPVC piping. Allow 15 minutes for the glue to set before proceeding.
