Following the coming into effect of Order in Council 2015-1071 under the Shared Services Canada Act, responsibility for the maintenance and management of a number of Supply Arrangements and Standing Offers will move from the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) to the Department of Shared Services Canada (SSC). As such, SSC will be the single designate authorized to act as the representative of Canada in the management of the affected Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements. In its capacity as the Standing Offer and Supply Arrangement Authority, SSC will have the sole ability to set out Identified Users, and to authorize such users to place orders under these instruments. In keeping with its mandate, SSC will process all departmental orders, make all call-ups or requests for volume discounts under Standing Offers, and conduct all bid solicitations under Supply Arrangements on behalf of Identified Users.
