Being a quick and earnest exploration of a mysterious vial given to me by Herr Sturmcrowe on Festag 1st Sommerzeit, 2514 Preface: this appreciation is for thine eyes only and the remarks contained within be my most personal interpretations. The author is in no way responsible for any actions that maybe undertaken henceforth. Observations        

The vial is small, volume estimated at half a cup The vial is crafted from a thick, dark blue glass, probably leadened glass but it also incorporates particles => very rare & probably very expensive? It is sealed with a cork stopper, the simplicity of which contrasts with the vial’s sturdy and expensive craftsmanship The vial contains a liquid to a third of its capacity => probably only a few shots left? The tincture appears astonishingly clear and surprisingly liquid The tincture seems to be odourless The tincture appears tasteless The tincture seems does not appear to glow in the thaumaturgic spectrum => most unusual

Reactions         

The tincture appears surprisingly inert to the 4 classical elements (earth, water, air & fire) The tincture does not appear to exert any influence on a lodestone The tincture seems inactive when poured onto common plants The tincture appears harmless when smeared onto my apprentice’s skin The tincture seems innocuous when drunk by my apprentice The tincture causes the tiberium plant to wilt slightly => quite odd The tincture seems to distort thaumaturgy => rather peculiar The tincture appears to obscure part of thaumaturgic spectrum => most worrying The tincture seems to faintly radiate dhar! => handle with extreme care!

Conclusions   

Vial suggests an expensive and dangerous tincture Inert qualities suggest poor alchemical compound Rare thaumaturgic qualities suggest a form of mild tranquiliser which could, through repeated applications, stultify, possibly even alter, a creature’s psyche  Should you require further details, please refer to my apprentice
