The Villennes Poissy Rowing Club is pleased to invite you to participate in:

The fifteenth Edition of the Villennes Poissy "Great Eight" SUNDAY the 21st of JUNE 2015 (under the LIFA race Label)

It is with great pleasure that the ACVP rowing members will welcome you to this regatta. That event is marked by a sporting and friendly spirit. As for those who find our rowing site at that time, they are usually seduced by its charm. The "Big Eight" takes its name from the double loop configuration of the race. We row around two islands (Villennes and Migneaux). It is a race restricted to the leisure rowing section only opened to C-4 scull coxed boats. A detailed map of the tour with its technical difficulties is attached to this letter so you can assess the specificity of this regatta: timed departure from the pontoon, slalom around the Poissy Old Bridge, change of coxwain on water, etc. After your efforts, we will be happy to welcome you to refreshments. New: that year, you can order a lunch bag on the same registration form. You will have the possibility to view the video of the race, according to the great success we met last year. For Clubs obliged to arrive the day before, you can find easy accommodation around Poissy. (See the annexe for more information). The criteria for inclusion in the regatta are as follows: - Fee: 9 euros per person or 45 euros per C-4 coxed boat - Mixed teams are allowed - Closing date: the 8th of June 2015.
