Configuring the communication card in the ATV58 The communication speed and the product address are configured on the bus via 8 switches located at the top of the L-shaped card.

Installing the communication card in the ATV58 1

Switch off the drive (wait for 1 minute)

Unlock the cover and pivot to open

Remove the connector IP20 protective cover from the control card

Tighten the 3 fixing screws

Plug the card onto the control card connector

Connecting the ATV58 communication card to the bus 1

Connect the CANopen cable to the female connector supplied with the drive as shown below

Plug the female connector into the card sub-base

If the product is located at one end of the bus, set the line termination switch to RON (to the left)

Pin Signal Description: 1: CAN_GND = Ground / 0 V / V2: CAN_L = CAN_L bus line (dominant low) 3: (CAN_SHLD) = Optional CAN Shield 4: CAN_H = CAN_H bus line (dominant high) 5: Not Connected
