Announcement Encik Kamil Khalid Dato' Mushir Ariff

The Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Encik Kamil Khalid Dato' Mushir Ariff as Chief Executive Officer, Mahkota Technologies Sdn Bhd with effect from 3 August 2004. Encik Khalid will assume the responsibilities of CEO with effect from 3 August and Mr. John Hall will be advising him during this interim period to ensure a smooth handover. Mr. John Hall will be leaving us by 25 December and we wish him every success in his new undertakings. As CEO, Encik Khalid will report to myself and the Board of Directors. YBhg. Dato' Hilmi Mohd. Noor will remain as Deputy Chairman and Mr. Shashi Menon will continue with his title of Deputy MD/Chief Financial Officer. Accordingly, with effect from 3 August, all Executive Directors and Divisional General Managers will report to Encik Khalid. Encik Khalid is a Malaysian and is married with 2 children. He holds several qualifications including MBA Management, MSc Economics and B.S. Management, all attained from American Universities. He brings with him 20 years' experience having headed various industrial groups with activities in sales and marketing, manufacturing, contracting, electronics, business development and strategic planning. I would like to request all Management and staff to give their utmost co-operation and support to our new Chief Executive Officer and please join me in welcoming Encik Khalid to Mahkota.
