Plasmid DNA separation is simple and straightforward Figure at left shows parallel analysis of supercoiled plasmid pBR322 (E1, E5, E9), plasmid treated with restriction enzyme to produce linear species (E2, E6, E10), plasmid treated with DNase to produce closed circular species (E3, E7, E11), and a mixture of all three species (E4, E8, E12).
