lifting weights is great for you. stretching should be a part of that weight lifting process. why?? a muscle is like a rubber band. when you flex or act upon it it loads up and then releases. the more flexible and limber your muscles are the faster they react to stimuli. that is why i am so fast. my muscles are not hard but rather like silly puddy. you can actually press right through most of muscles to the bone and feel the bone underneath. all lifting is good for you as long as your form is good. if not then you will damage the muscle and ligaments.

try this. for every exercise that you do (weights) stretch that muscle group that is being worked between sets. this will make you grow faster and have better muscles. later, frank
