SOLICITATION AMENDMENT # 001 The purpose of this amendment is to: 1) Revise the closing date on front page of “Request for Quotation”; 2) Respond to questions presented by bidders;

Response #1: The Pricing Sheet has been updated to include the additional information requested. See attached Annex A – Rev.1.

Question #2: What size C and KU antennas are you using for the spare feed horns? This is ` required to know what size is needed.

Response #2: 2.4m Prodelin Antennas. Quantity 1 - 1.8m Prodelin Antenna   Question #3: TRFs are normally ordered with and are attached to the feed horn. When ordered separately, we must know the port configuration you are using. Response #3: TRFs that are compatible with Prodelin Feedhorns (See additional info provided to the Annex A – Pricing Sheet) 

Question #4: The standard configuration for IDirect systems does not normally require separate wave guides. The Buc and LNB are directly connected to the feed horn. For these spare waveguides, is it a custom configuration with an external power source? Response #4: It is a TX waveguide no need for power. Connects from iBUC to KU feed horn. WR75 Twistflex Waveguide, VSF75-150B, 15 feet.

Question #5: What length wave guides do you require? Response #5: Wave guides shall be 15 Ft. Question #6: The first item under Cables and connectors is not specific enough to order the correct parts – i.e. IBUC misc. cables. Attenuators and adapters. Please be more specific on the cables, attenuators and adapters required? Response #6: The Annex-A has been updated to include all adapters, attenuators and cablessee line G40 on Pricing Sheet – Rev. 1.

Question #7: Under Cables and Connectors, what size cables do you need for each item? Response #7: The Annex-A, Rev. 1 has been updated to include all cables. Question #8: What length N – N 50 Ohm LMR 600 TX cables do you require? Response #8: See Annex A, Line G44 Pasternack Cable, Type N-Male N-Male, LMR600 (50 Ohms), 15 feet, Part # PE3C0048-180  Question #9: The N type male 9913 connectors are for RG 8. Do you require any RG8 cable or just the connectors?

Response #9: Just Connectors Question #10: What is the cable type and length for the F type male connectors, Surgender Polyphase, T connector, EZ – 400 – 75. The attenuators require cable size and type Response #10: The Annex-A, Rev. 1 has been updated to include the missing Part numbers.
