In your 2013 letter to CIVL, EHPU clearly purport to have a say in the safety of competition pilots. That great responsability requires knowledge, competences and Negligence cannot be tolerated.

I don't want to hear rhetoric, I want facts, analysis, research studies,... And safety requires full transparency and disclosure so that everyone can double check the validity of any proposal. I do strongly believe that I should decide of my own safety. Therefore that is your duty to release the evidences supporting that your recommendation is more likely to improve the safety record of paragliding competitions. The french federation, despite having one of best competition system build through time and thousands competitions, decided to adopt the FAI recommendation, and the following period was the most deadly one of FFVL history.
