The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) has published this catalogue in their yearly Observer's Handbook. (http://www.rasc.ca/) The 110 Finest N.G.C. Objects List was compiled by Alan Dyer; it is arranged sorted by seasons and constellations. 12 Open Clusters : Including the famous Double Cluster in Perseus, NGC 7789 in Cassiopeia and NGC 6633 in Ophiuchus. 2 Globular Clusters : NGC 5466 in Bootes and NGC 6712 in Scutum. 14 Diffuse Nebulae : Includes the great Veil Nebula as well as the North American and Rosette Nebulae. 24 Planetary Nebulae : Includes many fine PN's like the Ghost of Jupiter, the Cat's Eye, the Blinking Planetary, the Helix, the Blue Snowball and the Clown Face Nebulae. 58 Galaxies : Includes the amazing NGC 4565 in Coma Berenices, NGC 253 in Sculptor and NGC 5907 in Draco. 110 Objects : The Finest NGC list can be started during any season, and completes the Messier Catalogue as there is no overlap.

Cluster 80*; look for NGC's 654 and 659 nearby dim oval smudge; use nebula filter !! Blue Snowball; annular at high power !! faint, classic edge-on with dust lane !! very large and bright but at low altitude; Sculptor Galaxy diffuse spiral galaxy faint (closer to 11 m); dark mottling; Skull Nebula near M77; NGC 941 in the same field !!
