NETTOYAGE

Traitez la surface du berceau avec un chiffon doux, trempé légèrement dans un mélange de savon à vaisselle et d’eau. Après le nettoyage, essuyez toutes les surfaces avec un chiffon doux sec. N’utilisez pas de produits abrasifs à récurer, pailles de fer ou tampons métalliques pour le nettoyage de ce meuble.

MAINTENANCE

Upon completion of assembly be sure all screws, bolts and fastening devices have been tightened securely. A frequent periodic check should be made on all screws, bolts and fastening devices and tighten as needed. Before each usage or assembly, inspect crib for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use the crib if any parts are missing or broken. Contact KIDIWAY Inc. for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. When disassembling this crib, do not remove any item attached with wood screws. If use a non-toxic for children’s products. Use of a vaporizer near furniture will cause the wood to swell and to peel. KEEP THE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WITH YOUR CRIB FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

CLEANING

Mix a mild dishwasher liquid and water solution, apply to crib surface with a soft cloth lightly damped in the solution. After cleaning, dry all surfaces thoroughly with a soft dry cloth. No abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, steel wool or coarse rags should be used to clean this furniture.

Utiliser un matelas dont l’épaisseur est d’au plus 15 cm et dont la superficie permet d’empêcher, lorsqu’il est poussé fermement contre un côté quelconque de ce lit de bébé, qu’un espace de plus de 3 cm soit créé entre le matelas et une partie quelconque de tout autre côté. Retirer ce lit de bébé s’il est utilisé comme accessoire avec un autre produit et que l’enfant occupe ce dernier. Veuillez suivre toutes les mises en garde sur ce lit. Do not use this crib if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it. Failure to follow these warnings and the assembly instructions could result in serious injury or death. Read all instructions before assembling crib. Keep instructions for future use. To reduce the risk of sids, pediatricians recommend healthy infants to be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician. Do not use this crib for a child who can climb out of it or who is taller than 90 cm. When a child is able to pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out. Do not place any cord, strap or similar item in or near this crib that could become wrapped around a child’s neck. Do not place this crib near a window or patio door where a child could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and be strangled. To help prevent strangulation tighten all fasteners. A child can trap parts of the body or clothing on loose fasteners. Check this crib regularly before using it, and do not use it if any part is loose or missing or if there are any signs of damage. Do not substitute parts. Contact KIDIWAY Inc. If replacement parts or additional instructions are needed. Children can suffocate on soft bedding. Do not place pillows, comforters or soft mattresses in this crib. Use a mattress that is no thicker than 15 cm and is of such a size that, when it is pushed firmly against any side of this crib, it does not leave a gap of more than 3 cm between the mattress and any part of any other side of the crib. When this crib is used as an accessory to another product, remove it whenever a child is in the other product. Follow warnings on all products in a crib. Do not use a water mattress with this crib. If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children’s products. Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation. Infants can suffocate in gaps between crib sides and a mattress that is too small.

TODDLER BED ENTRAPMENT/STRANGULATION HAZARD • • • • • • •

Infants have died in toddler beds from entrapment and strangulation. Failure to follow these warnings and the assembly instructions could result in serious injury or death. Never use bed with childen under 15 months. Never place bed near windows where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child. Do not place items with a string, cord, or ribbon around a child’s neck.Such as hood strings or pacifiercords. Do not suspend strings over a toddler bed for any reason. The users maximum weight shall not be greater than 50 lb (22.7 kg). To avoid dangerous gaps, any mattress used in this bed shall be a full-size crib mattress at least 51 5/8 in. (131 cm) in length, 27 1/4 in. (69 cm) in width, and a max thickness of 6 in. (15 cm).

1- Start by inserting one Wooden dowel (T) into the holes located at the top of Left rear leg (C) and Left front leg (G) and attach the two legs to the Left side panel (E).

First, choose the height of the Mattress support (M).

Choississez d'abord la hauteur du Support à matelas (M).

With a newborn child, start at the highest level and adjust afterward accordingly with the growth of the child. As the child grows up, it is important to lower the height of the Mattress support.

Avec un enfant nouveau-né, commencez au niveau le plus élevé et ajustez-le ensuite en fonction de la croissance de l'enfant. Au fur et à mesure que l'enfant grandit, il est important d'abaisser la hauteur du Support à matelas.

As shown on the drawing below, attach the four hanger arms of the Mattress support swivel brackets (M) to the four legs of the Side panels (E & F), using a Bolt (R) for each corner.

1- Using the Allen wrench, unscrew the eight Bolts (P&Q), remove the Top Rail, Front Panel, and stabilizer bar. 2- Fill the six Bolts holes on the Front legs (G&H) by tightening in each of them one Filling bolt (X) with a Filling nut (W).

2- Bouchez les six trous de boulon restants sur les Pattes avant (G & H) en vissant dans chacun un Boulon cache-trou (X) et un Écrou cache-trou (W).

3- Repeat step 3 (page 7), install Stabilizer Bar as shown.

For the conversion to a toddler bed, follow the Step 8 “Conversion to Day Bed’’ and purchase from your Kidiway retailer a Conversion kit which includes the Guard rail and its installation bolts.
