Work experience and projects February 2008 – June 2008 Welcomed by ICSC, the International Center for Sustainable Cities, in Vancouver, to do research on citizen participation as part of my diploma. Attended different kind of public meetings, made many interviews, to study a new sort of public consultation. Wrote out a 150-sheet report.
March 2007 – September 2007 Worked in « APSIS », architecture office in Helsinki, Finland, for a six-month internship. Participated in « Greater Helsinki Vision 2050 » an international urban planning competition, with a Finnish and an Italian architect. Developed sustainable strategies and concrete solutions for strengthening the status and competitiveness of Greater Helsinki as an attractive region to live in and conduct business (70 million square metres of foreseen new construction).
September 2006 – February 2007 Led a team of 11 students, as project head, for the PATI (Projet d’Aménagement du Territoire par une Infrastructure / Planning Project of a Transport Infrastructure). Designed and explained a new highway between Lyon and Saint-Etienne.
January - June 2006 Designed a « Green Skyscraper » for the new headquarter of the Région Rhône-Alpes, in a renovated neighborhood of Lyon. Diploma project with the Sustainable Development Department based on a solar chimney, a complete cycle of the water and inside vegetation.
October 2005 - June 2006 Wrote a sustainable development thesis « Management of rainwater in urban environment », for the Sustainable Development Department.
April 2006 Took part in a book publication « Architecture’s projects for a panoramic tower », project of a wood tower for the Signal Saint-André.
2005 - 2006 Designed and executed an entire Apartment renovation, in a 1912 building. Pulled down all the dividing walls, moved the kitchen, added a mezzanine.
July – August 2005 Worked in the competition department for a two-month internship with « Chabanne & Partners », architecture office in Lyon. Participated in two projects, a Sports Center in Andrésy, Yvelines and a nursing home (54 beds) in Brie-Comte-Robert, Seine-et-Marne.
