About Roxio Player Use Roxio Player to view the contents of a Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD), or DVD that you have created with VideoWave, DVD Builder, PhotoSuite or other disc-writing programs.
Starting Roxio Player Roxio Player can be started either of two ways: ■
From Home, click Extras & Utilities and select Roxio Player.

Choose Start > All Programs > Roxio > Roxio Player. Note Due to copy protection, most commercially available DVDs cannot be viewed with Roxio Player.

Opening video from your hard disk If a video project is saved or copied to your hard disk, it is possible to play it back using Roxio Player. To locate the file you wish to view:
The location of saved video files depends on the save settings of the application used to create the files. If you used a Roxio product such as VideoWave, the files would be saved in the following folder: C:\My Documents\Roxio Viewing specific video file types (DVD, VCD, and SVCD) is described below.
