Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff President As the President of the Razer Group, Robert brings more than 35 years of experience in marketing and communications to the table. He co-founded the Razer Group in October 1998. More affectionately known by gamers worldwide as Razerguy, Robert is the visionary of the group, having led the development and marketing of the cutting edge peripherals that Razer is known for. Throughout his career, he has worked with retailers, manufacturers, advertising agencies and as an independent marketing consultant assisting leading manufacturers and retailers. His early career was spent at a large Los Angeles-based advertising agency, as a copywriter. He rapidly ascended to senior account supervisor on major accounts such as Miller Brewing and US Borax. Robert has held senior marketing positions with May Department Stores, Bullocks, Gamble- Skogmo, Volume Shoe Corp., McCann-Erickson Advertising Agency, Richman Gordman Stores, Miller's Outpost, C lothestime and Franklin & Associates Advertising Agency. As an independent consultant, he worked with global manufacturers, such as Whirlpool, IBM, Philips, Carnation, and Science Diet. He developed worldwide brand strategies and mutually beneficial relationships for manufacturers in the consumer electronics industry. He earned his BA degree in journalism and his MBA from UCLA. He resides in San Diego, California and spends his leisure time with his wife Dr. Patsi Krakoff, who is also his regular tennis partner. His philosophy is as follows: “I have one and only one ambition. To be the best. What else is there?”
