EXPERIENCE
July 2013 - Jan. 2014
Engineering internship at KDDI R&D Laboratories in Saitama prefecture, Japan. • Conducted research to conceive a method to separate the network traffic triggered by the user of a mobile device from the network traffic triggered by an application of the device. • Implemented the method in Ruby in a scalable and memory efficient way and tested it on real traffic.
Summer 2012
Cultural activities in a supermarket in Kita-Kyushu, Japan.

PROJECTS
Apr. 2014 - Mar. 2014
Adaptive Augmented Reality System, research project at Tokyo Institute of Technology. • Created a marker-less Augmented Reality System based on image processing, allowing the user to augment the real world with virtual objects. • Technologies used: C/C++, OpenGL, Shaders (GLSL), OpenCV.
Feb. 2014 - Mar. 2014
Video Synchronization Project, personnal project. • Realized a web service enabling the viewing of a video simultaneously by different users. • The main aim of this project was to practice Test Driven Development and to discover new technologies. • Technologies used: Node.js, Websockets, CoffeeScript, Jade, Stylus, Grunt, Mocha, Heroku.
May 2013 - June 2013
Real-time screen space effects in WebGL, 2 months long project realized at Télécom ParisTech with 2 other students. • Realized a deferred shading pipeline in WebGL to achieve in real-time effects such as Soft shadows, Depth-of-field, Motion blur, SSAO, SSDO. • Technologies used: Javascript, WebGL, GLSL, Three.js, Git.
Apr. 2013
Ray-tracing 3D rendering with OpenGL, 2 weeks long project realized at Télécom ParisTech with 3 other students. • Realized a ray-tracing-based 3D renderer that was supporting diffuse, specular and transparent materials as well as mirrors. • Technologies used: C/C++, OpenGL, Git.
Oct. 2012 - Dec. 2012
Patch-based image completion, 2 months long project realized at Télécom ParisTech with another student. • Implemented a method enabling the completion of a deteriorated image by analysing the similarities between different portions (patches) of the image. • Technologies used: C/C++, OpenCV, OpenGL, Kolmogorov graph cuts, KD-trees, Git.
June 2012
QR Code Project, 2 weeks long team project realized at Télécom ParisTech with 3 other students. • Realized a web platform to provide a service of modifiable QR Codes. The users can create, print and modify the redirection URL of their QR Codes, even after having printed them. • Used technologies such as MongoDB NoSQL databases, the Play Framework (Java), Open ID, Git, and put the service in the cloud via Heroku.
Sept. 2011 - Apr. 2012
Kiwi Project, 6 months long team project realized at Télécom ParisTech with 3 other students. • Used the depth information given by an infrared camera to retrieve the position of the fingertips of the user, and used this information to recognize the gestures made by the user. This allowed the user to interact with a whole home-made interface using only gestures (move windows on a computer, rotate/resize pictures, manipulate 3D models...) • Technologies used: Java, C/C++, infra-red camera, Git, networks.
