Why do you need Product Data Filtering?
Copyright DASSAULT SYSTEMES
You have created a part or a product made of several parts linked with each other. You have to send your part or product to another team or even to a supplying company, for further processing. The other team or company must not be able to understand your design process by analyzing the specification tree or the links between objects. But general information such as publications, properties, annotations, must be preserved, therefore you cannot filter your data by a simple Copy/Paste as result.
