Pont du Diable Via Ferrata

The originality of this course overhanging the Ardèche is the 100 meters (328 feet) zipline that links the two banks. Thrills guaranteed ! Since a long time, crossing the Ardèche required inventiveness from the locals. Firstly they crossed by fords, then they built bridges and finally they thought of a clever system of gondolas held by cables according to various ingenious techniques.

Details : - 100 meters zip-line - Monkey bridges - «Nepalese» bridges - Possible loopholes Physical condition : Ideal for a first approach of the activity , this via ferrata is of an intermediary level. It requires a good physical condition. No experience in via ferrata is necessary.

Duration : Count between 2.30 hours and 3 hours for this half-day.

Think up : - A little backpack - a water bottle - a pair of closed-toe sport shoes - a little snack like a cereal bar.
