F E A T U R E S • Rugged Switch-Controlled Motors • Light, Uniform Film Tension Maintained throughout Performance • Individual Platter Deck Switching • Sturdy Nylon Film Rollers • Rated for Continuous Duty Cycle • Heavy Duty Variable AC Transformer • Field-Tested for Durability • Interchangeable Make-Up Table Spindles accommodate shipping reels (5/16") and house reels (1/2")
Field-Proven Strong Platter Systems exemplify the dependability of the Strong line of projection booth equipment. Standard “AP” (Auto Programming) models feature durable, switch-controlled motors to quietly drive each individual platter deck. The Solid-State “SCDC” (Self-Calibrating Digital Control) Platter uses reliable digital motor control circuitry, which allows independent platter disk operation. Employ the ultimate in film-handling performance!

Film Accumulators are available as a freestanding, Portable unit (as shown), or as a permanently-installed Wall Mount model. Both types store 22.5 feet of film (15 seconds at 90 feet per minute standard projection speed) and compensate for slight differences in speed between “synced” projectors running the same print on two or more screens.
ORDER INFORMATION Strong Platters are available in Three- and FiveDeck, 52 and 42 inch models. The 42" models are designed for 35mm operation only. Specify Digital Control (SCDC) or Microswitch/Phase Control (ALPHA). Three-Deck platters are supplied with (2) plug-in control plates and Five-Deck models with (4) plug-in control plates. Additional control plates are available as options. ALPHA platters feature a PAY-OUT/TAKE-UP/MAKE-UP selector switch at each disk. SCDC platters require no selector switch. Interlock circuit is standard on both models, Relay optional. Make-Up Table may be ordered with the Platter, or separately. Specify 2565 for ALPHA table, or 2560 for AP or SCDC table. Domestic systems require 115 V.AC, 15 ampere single phase service. International voltages and frequencies are available.
The Loop/AP is an Endless Loop and more! Evolved from the dependable and field-proven Strong platter, the Loop/AP uses numerous tested platter components, permitting low initial cost and high reliability. Operators accustomed to platter operation will adapt to the Loop/AP with ease. An entire feature (over 40 but not exceeding 190 minutes in length) is made-up on the center deck, threaded once through the projector, while the other decks function as a conventional AP 52 inch platter.
