Peptide Chemist with broad knowledge in solid phase synthesis

Responsibilities: in this position you will provide the necessary know-how in homogeneous and in solid phase synthesis to develop lean and economic processes. You will be asked to work in an interdisciplinary field with a process oriented approach. Among your main responsibilities are: the development and manufacturing of chemical processes in laboratory scale for active peptide ingredients under GMP conditions and participating in their implementation in larger scale, contribute to enhance our intern network with colleagues in Belgium and in China, maintain a top level competence in the area of solid phase synthesis. Your Qualifications: you own a doctoral degree in synthetic organic chemistry, preferably in peptide chemistry, with particular emphasis on SPPS. Postdoctoral or professional experience would be advantageous. You should have a proven record of research activity in the peptide field. In addition to that you must be able to work in a team, show flexibility, initiative and good communication skills. Fluency in English and German would be advantageous. Are you interested?
