Our October club meeting
Breakthru' opened the evening with a selection of Shadows hits and some vocal numbers, Mark Winter stood in on the drums. Last month our stand in drummer Mark Winter (along with his other band) were asked to attend an audition for “The Best Part Time Bands”, a BBC4 TV production, watch this space. If Mark gets to hit the big time you first read about it on here. Good Luck Mark. As Bob Withrington was at the Albert Hall to see Cliff Richard. Paul, Peter and I shared the MC job and the night ran fairly smoothly between the band and backing tracks, and more importantly we (Jean) managed to get all the players names and tunes written down for the newsletter.
