his stunning house half wood half glass was designed by the famous french

architect Patrick Fouquet and built during 1997-1998. Its 330 m2 on the ground are oriented full South West, in an exotic greenery case of 3 500 m2, lined by the fôret and feces of a sanctuary bird with a lake belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral. This haven of peace is 100 metres of the Bassin d'Arcachon and the port of Piraillan, and 1,5 kilometres through the forest from the most beautiful beaches of the Ocean Atlantic. With 650m2 livable opened on the nature, it is one of the most pleasant houses to live in on the Peninsula of Cap Ferret. Hidden behind an electric gate covered with natural Brande, we discover it after having crossed a driveway lined with Chamérops palmtrees. A headway of the roof covering approximately 60 m2 allows to park four cars there. By going back up towards the rez de chaussée, a car-port commands the access to the kitchen but also to a workshop of 45m2 and to the lingerie of 6m2.

Its buried basement decomposes into several rooms among which two completely tiled showrooms. The first one of 60 m2 is squared. It is completely equipped with custom-made display shelves on its circumference, and can get three or four car.

Other showroom of 80m2 is oblong and its walls are covered with white lath. It allows to present up to six cars. Following this room, we find a cellar of 60m2 including the boiler room and the wine cellar. This cellar is delivered with shelves and allows to reach a double garage of 38m2 of which the outside access is made by two automatics garage doors. Half a floor, glazed, on which is fitted out a library built to measure, allows to pass of under ground in the rez de chaussée. Of this intermediate level, we also reach a specific movie theater room with three levels downward, receiving the installation Home Cinéma. One video projector situated in the ceiling allows to view all the TV chanels and the DVD.

Walls of under ground was built in "banché" concrete (like a sky scrapper is ) and is covered with a paving concrete of thirty centimeters in thickness on which takes place a structure in wood "lamellé" of more than two hundred tons … At the first floor, the main door of access looks onto an entrance room of 32m2 which overhangs a stay opened of 87m2, cathedral ceiling, whose height under ceiling varies of 3 metres for the central part, to 6 metres on both sides. This main room is encircled on 18 metres long and 6 metres high, of plate glass windows among which four slide, two on 1,40 metres, two on 2,80 metres, offering a space of life exceptionally brilliant and opened on the nature. These outside accesses allow to reach a terrace of 120m2 in wood. To the right, architect's designed fireplace with opened foyer faces a sofa seven places in L, in roots of Hyacinth, in the middle of which thrones a magnificent exotic table of 2,25m2. In the middle of the stay is a white pool table, by Chevillotte. To the left, a bar separates the stay of the open kitchen. This bar, which has the particularity to be built in blue pavements, gets clearer by transparency in pink and blue thanks to several neon. The top of the bar, rounded off as the fireplace, is in light gray Surel, a material solid and very easy to maintain. A helm is supported by around tube in stainless steel.

The kitchen opened on the main room articulates around a central working space, also in Surel, receiving a double sink with crusher, an accommodation for the dish-washer, a space garbage can and several wall cupboards and drawers.

Behind the bar, we find a big work plan also in Surel, with a sink simple tub and on the right, a piece of furniture built for, hides a small special refrigirator on which a filler supplies fraich wine rosé and water. This model style art déco is chromed. A lava glass overhangs the refrigirator. To feed this, a bottle of Aligal in the basement, puts in pressure two barrels of 20 liters out of stainless. The stainless cooker, with fires gas and electric furnaces of Ilve brand is overhung by an extrator hood of 1,50 meters long, of the same brand. A storeroom of 6 m2, equipped with racks, reduce the kitchen. On right-hand side of the storeroom, a special housing receives a refrigerator with double door. On right-hand side of the entry, a bathroom with WC integrates a double doors cupboard. A corridor bordered by built-in cupboards with opening "touch-slash" on 6 meters length, allows to go toa space of life including three rooms, two bathrooms and a WC. The first room of 11 m2 is completed by a mezzanine of 9m2 reached by a miller's ladder. The second room of 12m2 receives a small closed mezzanine of 4m2. The third room has a surface of 12m2. These three rooms have a direct access on outside thanks to a sliding bay the 2,80 meters length. They are all the three equipped with large built-in wall cupboards. On the other side of the corridor, we can find a bathroom with tiled shower of2m2, a bathroom with bath-tub and an independent WC. On left of the entry, a translucent staircase without against walk brings to a small gallery overhanging the dinning place. On left, two mansard-roofed rooms accomodate the friends. The first of 9m2, the second of 15m2. These two rooms are equipped with an integrated wash-hand basin and built-in wall cupboards. On right-hand side, a flight of steps bordered of a translucent rack brings us to an additional floor on which we finds a space rest of 12m2 and a workspace of 15m2. These spaces are bordered of large picture windows, including two sliding, which allows to goon a balcony of 12m2 from where one has a beautiful view on the Bassin and on the "Ile aux Oiseaux".

In the workspace, a 6 meters length built-in desk has a very pretty sight on the ornithological park.

These two spaces are also separated by a translucent rack library giving a great impression of space. This impression is reinforced by the presence of moucharabiehs prolonging those of the balcony and separating this part from the stair-well. Of this space, a door gives on the owner's apartment. A small chamber distributes the access to a WC, a bathroom with tiled shower of 1,5m2, and to a dressingroom of 6m2 then to the principal sleeping room. Of a surface of 30m2, it entirely open on the ornithological park thanks to three large bay windows of which the central part opens completely on a balcony of 16m2. Its magohany floor is of the boat type. On the right part of the room, a angle bath-tub faces a large counter receiving two basins, surmounted of a glazed wall cupboard. On both sides of this piece of furniture, like symmetrically on the opposed side, the sliding curtains discover four glazed openings which give on the stay. The totality of the interior of the house, partitions and ceilings, is in panellings pine, lazurés in white. At outside, the structure is painted in white and panellings are in white Verzalit (german made). All the picture windows are in double glazing antieffraction. The majority are equipped with automatic curtains with remote controls.

A sophisticated alarm system is connected to a tele surveillance system. The two basement rooms are tear gas protected. The heating with fuel is dispatched by the ground and auxiliary radiators. The system is reversible and a cold making machine is able to send fresh water during the summer, with a derivation in the room owner. The garden is landscapped with approximately 1 000 m2 of grass. A terrace of 100m2 is bored by concrete swimming pool of 10 meters by 5, with flat bottom with 1,3 meters deep. It is surrounded of benches and several staircases allow to go the other zones of the garden.

This swimming pool with saltmachine is heated, thanks to a heat pump.
