Under section 51 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:

1 This Regulation may be cited as the Code of Practice for Working with Material Containing Asbestos Regulation - Occupational Health and Safety Act.

In this Regulation
“asbestos” means any of the following fibrous silicates:

4 An employer shall follow the code of practice specified in section 3 and shall ensure that employees follow the code of practice.

5 An employee of an employer who has adopted the code of practice referred to in section 3 shall follow the code of practice.
