FREQUENCY ADVERBS WORKSHEET

Read the following sentences: 1. Josh ALWAYS gets up at 7 o´clock. 2. He is NEVER late for school. 3. My parents don’t USUALLY work on Saturdays. 4. Do you SOMETIMES take a nap on Sundays? 5. I NEVER go to school by bus. 6. Does he ALWAYS wear a suit? 7. He HARDLY EVERY goes to the cinema. Adverbs of frequency are used:  before the main verb BUT after the verb “to be”  between the auxiliary verb and main verb in negative sentences  after the subject in interrogative sentences 

to express how often we do some activities: that’s why we use the question word “How often” to ask a question about them.
