Maximilien EVENO is back! Maximilien EVENO will be back on tracks in 2013. After a 2011 season finished at the 4 th place of the French Rallycross Championship and a 2012 year made up of a program focused on studies, 2013 announces the comeback among a class he likes a lot: “I am very happy to announce that I will be back to Rallycross in 2013; furthermore, with a lethal weapon because it is a Citroën C2 Super 1600. This car was used in Junior World Rally Championship; it is a competitive car which is not easy to adapt to Rallycross special features. There will be an adjustment phase with a lot of work, but I will still be able to count on the support of Bos Engineering which has an extensive experience with this car. Moreover, the company STACEM continues its collaboration with our team, without them this adventure since 2008 would not be here today.” It promises great things, provided it was not easy to reach this stage. After a year and a half of work to materialize a project, it finally becomes a program for 2013. An unprecedented feat, like states us the applicant: “All this accelerated in late 2012, when we bought this car; before nothing was done. A few years ago, I dreamed of seeing the great drivers in action. Gradually, I managed to climb the ladder and reach to a high level in 2011 where I had a beautiful season. However, I was well aware that the program was set duration. Now I have my own car in the French Championship, it is a real dream come true for me. It is never easy to gather necessary funds, I fought hard for over a year, but we are not there yet. I continue to seek partners in order to make the full season, because a Super 1600 is an expansive car.” Even if the title is not the goal of the season in 2013, Maximilien is greatly looking forward to be among the drivers of the Super 1600 Championship. Some details remain to be defined, but this season will be above all to learn the car and organize for the future seasons: “We still have some details to solve in addition to gather sufficient budgets for a full season, particularly concerning the structure. We have time in front of us; in all cases this season will be a great adventure that will teach us a lot. I cannot wait to get on the start grid at Essay on May 18th. Team AMS – February 2013
