Magic Box v3.0 This adapter reads and converts data from CAN bus of the vehicle. We do now guarantee that data sent onto CAN BUS will not cause any disruptions of other electrical equipment in the vehicle.

Unlock-RP has 3 led lights indicating the work of the Unlocker: Green – power supply Red – CAN BUS activity Yellow – DVB-T tuner power supply

How does the Unlocker-RP work: After correct connection of all of the wires this should work like this:  Once car is open (for example with a central locking remote) stereo powers up the RadioOn input initiating box to work, green light goes on indicating activate power supply of the box, almost simultaneously red light should come on blinking indicating CAN BUS activity. After choosing the TV option in the stereo menu, yellow light for tuner power supply comes up which is active as long as TV source in the rns-e is active. After switching the radio off that power suppy is still active for about 20 seconds after which yellow indicator light goes off turning the tuner off – if you want to use DVB-T tuner after switching the ignition off, keep the radio on. Additionally the box is equipped in 2 power outputs 12V -100mA RFSL and Dout RFSL is activated on reverse gear switching the video signal from reverse camera on RNS-E screen. DOut – +12 after keys turned in ignition

The Unlocker should be supplied with a power between 10-16V, preferably 12V, power intake depends on USB drive sticked to the tuner. USB Pendrive's need less power then external drive's. „USB” button 

,,USB'' button will not work without a list of channels saved in the tuner, therefore it is suggested to have the tuner connected to the TV at home in order to have the channel list downloaded.

Coding instructions: Coding of the TV source:  Module 37 (Navigation System)* -> Coding -> Function 07  Change the last number of the coding value according to the equipment + TV (choose 2,4,6 or 8) 0xxxxx?: 1 - default 2 - TV-Tuner 3 - CD-Changer 4 - TV-Tuner and CD-Changer 5 - Multifunction Steering Wheel 6 - TV-Tuner and Multifunction Steering Wheel 7 - CD-Changer and Multifunction Steering Wheel 8 - TV-Tuner, CD-Changer und Multifunction Steering Wheel  Code RNS-E with new code. Coding of the AUX IN source:  Module [37 - Navigation]*.  Choose Coding. The value is gonna contain 7 numbers. First one should be 0, some interface's can ignore that and show only further 6 digits.  Write down the code and check 6th digit (which is second from the end).  Change that for 5 (in case of not having satellite tuner installed) or 6 (in case there is a satellite tuner installed). *In case of VAG COM or VCDS doesn't communicate with module 37 [Navigation system]. Try then connecting with module 56 [Radio]

Coding of the automatic camera video source switching: • module 37 – Navigation • change channel 4 value from 0 to 1 (you will need at least 550 software in your unit for this to be possible and working) • code the unit with the new code
