LIVE-RUNNER
Description The LIVE-RUNNER is a portable, modular and evolutive device which performs wireless digital transmission of audio, video and data. It includes 422/420 MPEG2 low delay encoding, COFDM digital modulation and RF transmission with 1W output power in a compact and convenient package. It provides many flexible audio, video and data interfaces as well as an optional wireless camera control system. All input/output signals are concentrated on 2 multi-pins connectors located at the bottom of device and thanks to various mechanical and connectors adapters, the LIVE-RUNNER can easily be installed onto the back of a camera head, a camcorder, on a vehicle or in a host rack. The LIVE-RUNNER is a modular system constituted of : •
a main digital section (MPEG2 encoding + COFDM modulation)
•
an RF transmission module (which can be replaced on the field to change frequency band).
•
a display+keypad module
•
one among various possible connectors adapters.
The LIVE-RUNNER is an evolutive system which can support the following future upgrades and options : •
DVB-T pro : an improved DVB-T modulation system with time-interleave for difficult or mobile transmissions (software upgrade).
•
COFDM pro : a proprietary COFDM modulation system with improved performances and providing ultrarobust mobile transmission modes on one side and higher useful bitrates up to 89 Mbps on the other side (software + simple hardware upgrade).
•
A comprehensive wireless control system providing multi-cameras control and genlock for minimized endto-end global delay (hardware add-on).
In the fastly moving world of wireless digital systems, the LIVE-RUNNER evolutivity is the only way for customers to preserve their investment for a long period of time.
