ALLEY BAGGETT There doesn’t seem to be a consensus on cosmetic makeovers—some see the benefits, some see the hazards—but this perennial Top 20 model is in favor. “They help people see what the possibilities are and give them hope for a better, more confident life. JELENA JENSEN It took winning a Playboy TV Sexy Girl Next Door segment to convince her of what the rest of us already knew— “that making it in Playboy was a reality for me.” Her personal and professional ambitions were further bolstered by landing as a regular on Totally Busted and by making her first Top 20 roster. DAVIN LEXEN With her life plan as yet undetermined, posing for Playboy was mostly about personal validation. “So many people told me that only ‘real’ models were cut out for this kind of work, implying I couldn’t or wouldn’t make it. Surprise, surprise! Getting this far only fuels my desire to do more.” On the practical side, earning a little extra change also helps pay for college expenses. “I’m earning my way through school and getting to feel beautiful. ELISA PRÉVOT High school is not one of life’s fond dog-eared memories for the once “skinny, flat-chested, freckle-faced kid with an overbite. Girls loved to pick on me and boys barely noticed me.” Fate does sometimes play wonderful tricks, though. “I haven’t made a point of looking up any of them to flaunt, but I do have to wonder if any of my former tormentors have flipped through an SE and seen my pictures. TIFFANY LANG She realizes that some people may gossip and prejudge her because of her work with Playboy—“they assume I’m easy, a pushover, which is so not true”—but Tiffany has learned to follow her own instincts. “Hey, I love Playboy.
