Study project - 2004 -

Supervision Patrick Térroitin, first year project DMA (diplomatrade of art) Proposition of a vision, the feeling of the 1920s society . The patterns are used in a comtemporaine way, around influences of the artistic scene of the « années folles ». Principle of superposition of elements, giving an approach of the whole of the disciplines of the costume: kimono (huge volume), A structure on a belt (projected volume), A blouse (haute couture), A pair of pants (tailor work), A swimsuite (haute couture), Painting and textile design (hand made).

This project of costumes proposes a treatment of the characters by the caricature, in reference to the prototypes of the middle of the XIXème century. The grotesque costume exaggerates the body of an interpreter, according to the forms of the time and the spirit of the character. Costumes created and realized with Elodie Sellier

COSTUME AND DISPROPORTION Creation of three sculpture - costumes

Théâtre National de Strasboug - 2006 -

Personal diploma project, in collaboration with the students of the National Theater school Strasbourg (TNS) «Calderon» by Pier Paolo Pasolini (creation of Groupe XXXV director : Emilie Rousset). The second episode of Calderon is placed in the painting « Menines » of Velasquez. The setting in abyss: the principle is to use the idea of the frame and the fabric, the recto and the back of the painting; to play with a frontal, two-dimensional vision and the real space in 3D.

The three actors are placed on a revolving plate. When the spinner is activated, faking is discovered. After having impressed by its démesure, the image of Ménines, becomes funny.The actors being naked in their dresses, their nudity appears, as the plate turns. Removable, the dresses are then taken off of each structure, to reveal a metal cage.

Creation for «La Douxième bataille d’Isonzo»

Cie Mala Noche - 2005 -

During the « Festival de Caves », Besançon. The spectators are invited to be part of a unique theatrical experiment. In the half-light and the proximity, the text resounds, the spirits are untied. La Douxième Bataille d’Isonzo, by Howard Barker with Pearl Manifold et Christian Pageault Director, Guillaume Dujardin. A very young woman and an old man, Tena and Isonzo, both blind, get married. The spectator assists at their meeting, between life and death.

«La Petite Flûte Magique» (The little magic flute),after the Mozart opera, adapted for the young public. The production also turned in the area, to meet the children. This adaptation proposes the mixture between theatre and opera; where comedy, gestual, songs (in German and French) are punctuated by the interventions of an accessory narrator. He orchestrates the staging, the introduction of the characters and the history. The idea was to create animalist costumes, symbolizing the different characters.

«Les Mamas » Ambulating marionette show . It is by dance, that these large women approach the spectator. The puppeteer is completely integrated in the puppet, carried on its back like a small child.

Les Chevaliers Errants au sud de l’Anamour - 2006 -

«Les Chevaliers Errants» by Antoine Fromantal. Oneiric fable, with multiple winks on film noir and the experimental cinema, this film wants to be like a play made up of figures of the genre cinema and pop culture.

S OCLAGE OF AN ARMOUR Creation of a metal structure , covered

Ministère des Affaires Etrangères - 2006 -

Design of a body, made to measure, for the use of the permanent exposure of an armour of the XIXth century, according to the principles of the preventive conservation and according to the preexistent soclage. Creation of a metal structure made of stainless steel for the unity of the complete body and mannequinage. Stuffing, by polyester foam, entirely consolidated by hand, to give volumes able to maintain the armour. Moulding and realization of textile covers (dismountable and washable) for the body and the forearm. The element of the helmet is fixed by a curved stainless steel part.

S OCLAGE OF A CHASUBLE Creation of a textile structure

Occitan chasuble of the XVIIth century - 2007 -

Design of a textile support on purpose of the exhibition of a very fragile chasuble, according to the principles of the preventive conservation. According to the constraints, the soclage is entirely dismountable and washable. It is composed of a textile base, reinforced with flexible metal bands, of a polyester foam mannequinage, entirely consolidated by hand.

Intervention for the preparation and installation of the exhibition Toy Comix, Galerie des Jouets. Creation of the fixings, with the artists Benoit Jacques and Stéphane Blanquet, in the respect of the principles of the preventive conservation. Scenography and soclage of the presented objects in vitrines (toys of the collection and comic strips).
