BLUES ACOUSTIC GUITAR METHOD BY MICHEL LELONG BY LAUWRENCE CONRAD ARTICLE ON MICHAEL MESSER WEB SITE As some of you know, our good friend Michel Lelong in Tours (http://www.michel-lelong-music-house.com) has written a blues guitar instruction book called La guitare blues acoustique. It is one of the best I have seen. It has a very good introduction on the blues and blues guitar in general and then more specialised chapters on Texas blues, Delta blues, East Coast blues and other blues influences. It is full of ideas and information and there are interesting historical sections. He uses a lot of tab, which is very clear, and the book comes with a useful CD (yes, Michel playing the blues ). Michel and I have talked about an English version in the past, and now we have decided to go for it. The Fates willing, we will have this for Blues Week 2005.
