IN THE BAZAR As most companies & owners decorate their buildings with mourning accessories in the occasion of Ashura, Hardware traders are very on demand before this celebration.

Ziyarat e Habib Ibn Musa : ( literally : Visit of habib son of Moshe) is the shrine of king SHAH ABBAS the 1st, but actually venerated as a saint man. The attached courtyard (not represented here) is some kind of commemorative cemetary, and I saw pilgrims near the king’s coffin. In one of the various sections of the courtyard, they store a Nakhl coffin presumately for Tazieh purpose.

Deeper to the promising South : a meditative pause out of Kashan. At least small roads led me closer to the mountains. I detoured after seeing this cone-shaped dome in the silent village of Khoramdasht, on the Natanz Rd.

KHARVEH VILLAGE, KASHAN PROVINCE
ABYANEH competes with Masuleh & Hawraman for the most picturesque village of Iran
I NSIDE ABYANEH The village is famous for a picturesque ascending parade during Ashura festivals. Here, there is also a zoroastrian Fire Temple and inhabitants, despite all are muslims, still respect some old zoroastrian traditions. After all, the village is a pleasant walk.
