1. Venue The RG65 event will be held in the lake of La Grande Paroisse at Montereau Fault Yonne 77 France. 2. Date and Programme Tuesday, August 28 10h to 18h - measurement and opening ceremony Wednesday, August 29 10h to 18h - racing Thursday, August 30 10h to 18h - racing Friday August 31 10h to 18h - racing Saturday september 1st, 10h to 17h racing, 18h closing ceremony and diner

3. Organizing Authority The RG65 event is organised by the CN Viry under the authority of French Sailing Federation 4. Rules The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009 - 2012 (RRS) as changed by the RRS Appendix E, the IRSA Class event Rules, this Notice of Race (NoR), the Sailing Instructions (SI), the International RG65 Rules and The Equipment Rules of Sailing. The Sailing Instructions shall prevail in case of conflict with this Notice of Race. The English language version of these governing documents shall prevail. 4a. Advertising The regatta is Category C event as defined in ISAF Advertising Code. 5. Eligibility 5.1 The event is open to all boats of the RG65 class 5.2 Number of skipper is limited at 68 5.3 Competitors shall comply with the requirements of ISAF Eligibility Code and the additional requirements of the following clauses. 5.4 Any competitor in the event shall be a national or a permanent resident of the country of the Division Member that is entering him / her. 5.3 A competitor who is a national of two or more countries at the same time may represent either one of them, as he/she may elect. 5.4 A permanent resident is defined as someone living in the country for which he/she wishes to sail, for at least nine months of the year prior to the initial closing date of entries for the event. 6. Registration Boats, together with their valid measurement certificates shall be presented for registration before 18h on August 28th. However, the Race Committee may extend the time for registration and event measurement if there is a valid reason to do so. No boat shall be eligible for racing until it has been registered and and has passed event measurement. 7. Scoring and Racing System Scoring will be carried out in accordance with the HMS 2007. The System for reducing protests hearing shall be used: SYRPH with umpiring as Addendum Q and its Advice for radio sailing.

This fee includes the use of the club facilities and also includes two evening meals and lunch on each of the sailing days. Measurement It is intended that all boats will pass event measurement on Tuesday, August 28th between 10h to 18h. Nonetheless, the Race Committee may at any time request the event measurer to confirm that a boat complies with the Class Rules. Random spot checks may be effected throughout the duration of the Event. 10. Jury There will be no International Jury. 11. Frequencies Permitted frequencies are: 26,815 MHz – 26,915 MHz, 41,000 MHz – 41,200MHz , 72,210 MHz – 72,490MHz , 35,000 MHz – 35,010MHz , 2,4 GHz. Each competitor is required to have a minimum of six frequencies available except for 2,4GHz. 12. Prizes Prizes will be awarded to the first ten positions in the final results, and participation prizes will be awarded to all competitors. 13. Liability All those entering or taking part in this event do so at their own risk and responsibility. FFVoile, CN Viry and any other parties involved in the organisation of this event disclaim: Any and every responsibility whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or inconvenience that might occur to persons and goods, both ashore and on the water as a consequence of entering or participating in the event covered by this Notice of Race. At all times the responsibility for the safety of their boat and themselves including the decision to participate or continue shall rest with the competitors. By entering the event it is deemed that you accept these conditions. Competitors are advised to ensure that they have adequate personal insurance that provides cover for public liability and their possible injury in the Country of this event.
