Important dates

Submission information

• September 15, 2004 Deadline for submission of invited sessions proposals. Invited sessions proposals will be collected through the Congress web site from the beginning of December 2003

The conference program will consist of a number of regular and invited sessions. Regular and invited sessions are to be attached to one of six major thematics.

• October 15, 2004 Deadline for submission of draft papers or extended abstracts. The submission will start on June 1, 2004. • March 15, 2005 Notification of acceptance. • April 1, 2005 Registration. • April 30, 2005 Deadline for submission of final papers.

Requests about the IMACS’2005 world Congress must be submitted to: IMACS’2005 Secretariat Ecole Centrale de Lille BP 48, Cité Scientifique 59651 Villeneuve d'Ascq Cedex France. Fax: +33.3.20.33.53.19 [email protected] For more information see the website: http://imacs2005.ec-lille.fr

All topics represented within IMACS will be included in the Congress Program, from more theoretical questions in applied/computational mathematics to relevant aspects of computer science and applications in the engineering, environmental, social sciences - including those disciplines whose recent growth has been enabled by the appearance of powerful computers such as in biomathematics, mathematical finance... Of particular interest will also be those contributions concerned with the interface between applied and computational mathematics. ‚ Papers for regular sessions. The procedure is as follows: First you submit an extended abstract which will be reviewed by a panel of experts. After receiving the acceptance notification you are required to submit your full camera-ready paper to the conference. ‚ Papers for invited sessions. Invited Sessions are organized by one or two persons. Upon acceptance, the proposal will be included in the conference as an invited session. The review of papers submitted in an invited sessions is realized by the organizers of the session by common consent with the chair of the selected thematic. All proposals to organize invited sessions and paper submissions must be submitted via the IMACS’2005 Conference Website.
