Je m‘appelle Georgia. J'ai 15 ans. Je suis en France pendant 5 mois. Je vis avec une famille à Lutterbach. J'ai deux « sœurs », Cécilia et Floriane. Je suis à l'école avec Cécilia. Ma matière favorite est la Littérature. Mes passe-temps sont : jouer au tennis, traîner avec mes amis, l’ordinateur, la lecture, et passer du temps avec ma famille. Je suis née et j’ai grandi en Australie, à Melbourne. J'ai un frère qui joue au tennis à plein temps, mon père Angelo est maçon et ma mère Amy ne travaille pas. Je suis en France pour améliorer mon français et avec espoir de retourner au parlant le français couramment. J'apprends le français à mon école en Australie depuis 3 ans. J'apprends le grec et je peux le parler couramment. L'Australie est un pays dans l'hémisphère du sud et a une population de 22 millions de personnes. Les couleurs nationales d'Australie sont le verts et l'or. Les deux animaux principaux en Australie sont les kangourous et les koalas. The capital city is Canberra and the largest city is Sydney. Australia has 6 states: New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia. It has two territories: Australian Capital Territory and The Northern Territory. In Australia people work monday to friday, normal hours are 9am-5pm and students attend school monday to friday beginning at 8:45am and finishing at 3pm. The main meal is dinner. Melbourne has the most international cuisine, with many restaurants, cafes, bars and whatever type of food you feel like. Asian food is very popular in Melbourne. Melbourne has the largest population of Greeks in Australia along with many Italians who came in the 1950’s and 1960’s because they couldnt find work in their home country. There are 166 different nationalities in Australia. My mother was born in Greece and came to Australia when she was 2 years old because her parent’s could not find work in Greece. My father was born in Australia however his parent’s returned to Greece after 17 years of working in Australia. My father went with them but did not like the Greek lifestyle so he returned to live in Australia. However my father’s parent’s still live in Greece along with his sister’s. All of my mother’s family live in Australia. Australia’s largest rock is Ayres Rock (Uluru) which is in The Northern Territory. Mellbourne has nearly 4 million people and is Australia’s second largest city. Public transport such as trams, trains and buses are very popular in Melbourne. A major popular sport is Australian Rules Football.
