Track Location Habay-la-Neuve is located in the Belgian Ardennes in the South of Belgium, next to the French and Luxembourg’s border. The nearest airport is Luxembourg (+/- 60 km) To come in Habay-la-Neuve, you have to take the Motorway E411, exit nr 29 ‘Habay’. The way leading to the track will be indicated with panels. The track is situated in Rue des Carrosses next to the Forest of Anlier (after football pitch)

Registration The registrations must be made through the National Federation on the enclosed registration form. No individual entry. The registration forms must be sent prior for April 7th by e-Mail or fax to: Mr René NICOLAS 59 Faubourg Saint Nicolas 21200 BEAUNE Fax : + (33) 380 246 713 E.mail : [email protected] Please note that payment must be made on the bank account of the organisor: Bank owner: BMX GALAXY IBAN: BE47 2670 0699 0180 BIC: GEBABEBB A federation (and only the federation) can cancel riders until the Thursday 19th April at 8 am before the event. They will not have to pay for this registration. If they do not show up at the event and do not cancel participation in due time, entry fee will have to be paid.

Entry Fees The entry fee for all Challenge classes is: 25,00 € per class/ per day (per start) The entry fee for Championship classes is: 55,00 € per round for Elite classes. 30,00 € per round for Junior classes. Deadline : Saturday April 7th 2007. All registration received after deadline will have to pay double entry fee.

Registration Control Friday April 20th from 05 pm to 08 pm, Saturday April 21th from 08 am to 09 am The Team Managers of each country will be responsible for confirmation of the riders.

Catering Drinks and food will be available during the whole week-end next to the track.

Shops BMX shops will be on place in order to help the riders in the case they need it.

Campsite :

There is an area for Campsite 400 m off the the track. Toilets, Showers and Electricity will be available. Price for a Caravan/MotorHome: 45 € with reservation (55 € without reservation) for the whole weekend Price for a Tent: 35 € with reservation (45 € without reservation) for the whole weekend

The campsite will be opened from Thursday 19th from 15.00 pm.

Reservation on http://www.bmxgalaxy2007.be The BMX GALAXY declines all responsibility in case of damage or robberies that could occur on track, parking or campsite.

First Aid First aid will be under control of the Belgian Red Cross. A doctor will be present during the event. An ambulance will be ready on the spot. As per the UEC rules, the transportation of injured riders from the track to Hospital (Arlon) will be free of charge for the riders.

Classes Challenge (international race): Boys Boys 9/ 10, Boys 11/ 12 Girls Girls 9/ 10, Girls 11/ 12 Attention: Boys & Girls 8 Years and under and Cruisers 12 Years and under are not allowed to participate at these races! European Challenge Cup: Boys 13/14, Boys 15/16, Men 17/24, Men 25/29, Men 30 and over Girls 13/14, Girls 15/16, Women 17 and over Cruiser 13/14, Cruiser 15/16, Cruiser 17/18, Cruiser 19/29, Cruiser 30/39, Cruiser 40 and over Master Classes (Championship Series): Junior Women, Junior Men Elite Women, Elite Men

Number Plates The organiser doesn’t supply number plates. Each rider has to bear his international number. The side-number plate is mandatory!

Rules UEC rules are applicable. Clip pedals are allowed for all classes from 13 and over. All riders registered in the Championship classes and the riders registered in the European BMX CUP (13 and over) must wear the national jersey or the two flags of their country on the sleeves of their racing shirt (size: at least 7x6cm).

EUROPEAN BMX CUP The UEC BMX Commission will run the European BMX Cup in 2007. The Cup is open to the riders who will participate in all the classes Challenge 13 and over (20 and 24 inches). The general ranking will calculated on the best 8 results out of the 10 possible races. - 2 races in Habay-la-Neuve (Belgium) April 21st and 22nd - 2 races in Klatovy (CZE) May 05th and 06th - 2 races in Winterthur (CH) May 19th and 20th - 2 races in Valmiera (LAT) June 09th and 10th - 2 races in Kampen (NED) June 23rd and 24th

Registered Trade Teams and National Teams A special area will be set up for the Registered Trade Teams and National Teams. Each Team will have a 6 x 3 metres area conforming to the UEC Rules. Electricity will be provided. Price by Team: 100 € To book an area, please send an email to [email protected]. Please note this is only reserved for UEC Registered Team. Other (unregistered) Teams will NOT be allowed to place Tents (Easy-up,…) in the Track Area.
