GSE My name is Alexandre Bourgoin. I was born 25 years ago in the city of Fontenay le Comte. Fontenay le Comte is one of the two sub-prefectures of Vendée, a department in the Middle West of France. I am the eldest of a family of two children. After I graduated the diploma of Baccalaureate, I went to Nantes, at the university to study Applied Mathematic with a specialty in Probability and Statistics. After that, I have made two missions in statistics. First, I have worked for the university, and participated in a study on archeological data. My aim was to estimate datation of not dated stratigraphic sets starting from dated sets by moneys, and compared my results with those of archeologists. After that, I have worked for a research department of sensometry and chimiometry. In this laboratory, I have participated in the construction of device, the purpose of which is to study food flavor. I have studied different texture images analysis, to determine the best methods to use to obtain the optimal performance of the device. This mission has just ended. And now, I am looking for a job. During my free time, I like to practice sport. Generally, I make running, VTT or tennis and sometimes rugby with friends. Alternatively, I enjoy to read and to play chess. During my stay in Korea, I wish to discover the culture and the daily life of the Korean people, in family and in work. Moreover, I would like to visit Seoul and its palaces, see the Pacific Ocean and one of the famous Buddhist temples hidden in the mountains.

My name is Emmanuel Couton. I was born in Nantes, in the west part of France, in 1967. My parents now live in Vertou, a small town south of Nantes. I have an older sister, Valérie, who lives in Nantes, and a younger brother, Xavier, who lives in Paris. I now live and work between Paris and Nantes. I graduated in Nantes in 1985. Then I studied architecture in Paris for 5 years. I worked in some architecture offices and learned to use CAD and 3D softwares there. In 1991, I started to produce 3D computer images for architects and became a freelance computer graphics illustrator in 1995. Since 1998, I'm making computer animations for architecture and urban planning projects. My aim is to use computer animation not only for showing a promotional image of projects, but also to explain processes and ideas. In a near future, I would like to work for documentary films or educational multimedia projects. I like travelling (backpacking in south and east Asia mainly), litterature and essays, cinema, european baroque music, indian classical music, some contemporary dance, art history, asian languages and writing scripts, old civilizations, hiking in remote and unspoilt places, cycling in big cities and flat landscapes. While in Korea, I would like to meet korean people and discover the korean culture and every day life, but also meet korean computergraphic professionals, eat korean food, go hiking on some mountains may be Jirisan National Park - to visit temples, museums, and if possible go to Busan and Seoul.
