CURRICULUM VITAE “An Impossible Waiting: Notes on Derrida’s reading of Heidegger in Aporias,” 6k words currently; (Close reading of Derrida’s conceptions of modality and of the future, as derived from Being-towardsdeath; centered around the translation of the term Bevorstehen) In Progress: “From Fundamental Ontology to (not-so) Fundamental Anthropology: Heidegger’s slippage from 1927 to 1929/30,” (Critical demarcation of Heidegger’s projects in Sein und Zeit and the subsequent lecture courses, with particular focus on displacements in doctrine of temporality.) 5k words. “One or many times in Kant? K. Düsing and J.-F. Lyotard , on two post-Heideggerian interpretations of Kantian time,” 4k words Projected: “What Heidegger (and Derrida) could have learned from Aristotle’s Greek commentators: dynaton and endekheton in the analysis of death.” Circa 2k words. (The distinction, attested in Ammonius’ and Alexander’s commentaries on de Int and Analytica Priora, is used to both contextualize and to refine Heidegger’s language of the possibility of death.
