ownstairs is the living area and the kitchen with all modern amenities, fireplace, antique dining table and chairs. From the kitchen, there is access to a large walled garden with terrace, the sunny courtyard and to the wine cellar.

pstairs are 2 large rooms and a new bathroom. Both rooms are equipped with old brass beds: a queen-size (140 cm) in one and twin beds (90 cm) in the other. Very ancient built-in closet in one bedroom and an antique regional closet in the other.

a Maison de Dame Lapin, du Vigneron and du Bailli are all located in Bellenaves, which is the village where we live. The village is mostly famous for its Chateau and its 12th century church. Every Wednesday morning, the local market is held here, and people come from all the other villages for their weekly fresh fish, organic vegetables and delicious cheeses.

his 17 century house was constructed as part of the Chateau de Bellenaves and housed the Bailiff. It has sculptured Renaissance windows, 2 wine cellars with direct access from the living room, oak beams, original red tiled floors and white washed walls.

he house has one living room of 30 m2 with a 15th century fireplace, 3 bedrooms (of 20, 25 and 30 m2), of which two are upstairs with old fireplaces and separate WC. The kitchen is brand new, with all modern amenities. The spacious and pleasant bathroom has whitewashed walls, oak beams, a large bathtub and a multi-jet shower. The house is equipped for all year-round occupancy with good insulation and central heating. The garden is large and separated in 2 parts of which one shares the high stonewall with the horse pen of the Chateau.

There is an old typical French brass-bed (130 cm), a table, chairs and a built-in closet. Downstairs is a living room with a large old table, lounging chairs and a coffee table. Outside is a small walled courtyard with vines on the walls and deck furniture.

here is no kitchen, but coffee and tea making facilities are provided. The village “auberge” is just opposite, and they serve very good and modestly priced regional food.

his house used to be part of a winemaker’s farm. It is on 2 levels, and situated above a beautiful courtyard. The bedroom with fireplace is 30 m2 with a king-size bed and a skylight. The living room is 30 m2 and has a stone fireplace, as well as an open kitchen space.

he warm and very beautiful courtyard with deck furniture is surrounded by stonewalls covered with wine, a nice fig tree and 2 olive trees. From the courtyard, there is access to an ancient vaulted wine cellar.
