COVER LETTER Topic: Application for a long term professional internship (24 weeks in a company).

Dear Sir or Madam, I am at the moment in the third year of my engineer course of the University of Technology BELFORT-MONTBELIARD (France) where I have been offered the opportunity to spend 6 months in a foreign country. I have been thinking about this project for two years and I have attended all possible meetings on the subject. I think the fifth year of my university studies is the right time for me to do an internship, as professors have recommended. This chance to work in a foreign country would be great for me to discover a new culture. I have already visited many countries with my family such as Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy. I have also had the opportunity to stay in Africa (Burkina Faso, Mali and Senegal) for a month and I could visit Iceland (One Month), two times Tech Republic, Belgium, Nederland. Last autumn, I stayed in Ireland for six month. Where I have meet Japan people. In particular, I remember when Misa and Sahori spoken about their country. They have let me share in their love their Japan. I have realized how interesting and fruitful it is to discover new cultures and new ways of thinking. That is the reason why this internship for me would be a great way of getting closer to the country, its people and its school system. I am a serious and motivated student and I put myself into everything to achieve my ambitions. I have chosen deliberately to do my last work (internships and jobs) in different sector like education, robotics, metalworking industry, sport or agribusiness. I think these different experiences helped me to integrate and adapt easily to different situations of professional life without a real problem, which is going to help me to succeed my internship abroad. This year in Japan is a chance to perfect my training and in particular English and Japanese. I’m giving so much advantage to do an internship in a laboratory of university as a firm. I think, it better to use the internship for work in a sector you don’t know. Each experience of work is rewarding and perhaps that is a open door for my career. This point is very important in my eyes because as I want to continue my studies for a doctorate, it will allow me to get a perfect knowledge of English in terms of electrical and I will be able to work internationally later on.

I hope that you will consider my application as well as the sincerity of my words and that you will give me a positive answer as far as this project is concerned. Yours Faithfully.
