ACTION AGAINST POISONING

THESE DOMESTIC ANIMALS WERE KILLED BY POISON!!! Poisoning is one of the most barbaric and cowardly crimes against animals and a source of immense anguish and grief to the people who love them. Your veterinarian will do all he can to rescue a poisoned pet but some poisons are too violent to fight. Strangely enough, hardly any complaints are filed with the G.N.R. or the Police and even rampant poisoning is not seen as a problem. Many people seem to view poisoning as ‘a fact of life’. The victims might disagree, if they could have a say in it. Your veterinarian will make an anonymous record of the poisoning cases in his clinic to chart the poisoning problem and bring it to the attention of relevant authorities. It is up to you to take further action against poisoning!!! • Keep your pet away from closed plastic bags in places where they don’t belong, remove suspicious bags and stray pieces of food anyway! • Keep an eye on the behavior of any strangers or hunters around your property, especially when they are annoyed with your barking dogs. • Report cases of deliberate poisoning to the G.N.R. or the Police, for any animal abuse file a Traveler Report at the web site: http://www.wspa.org.uk/traveltips/report • Teach children that poisoning is a disgusting and a horrible act.
