PARTICIPATION To be 18 years old at least – 1st Dan or over required. Each pair can be registered in 2 Katas (Tori and Uke can not permutate in the same kata-Tori cannot present the same Kata with another Uke). Maximum of 24 pairs per Kata.

The Judges will evaluate these Katas on the basis of the official Kodokan Kata standard (only official amendment should be considered if any). 1.5
ANTI DOPING No anti-doping tests.

CLOTHING The Kata competition will be held in white obligatory judogi. Female competitors shall wear a white T-shirt under the jacket and long hair to be bound with an elastic band.

II. INSCRIPTION and REGISTRATION 2.1
INSCRIPTION Before Tuesday, April 16, 2013: register on the club website (http://jctouraine37.free.fr/) AND send entry form by email. The registration fee can be paid before the competition by bank transfer (bank details on request) or by cash the day of registration.

Kata competition - Preliminaries Finals and Medals ceremony
ENTRY FEES The inscription fee is 10 euros per competitor (20 euros per pair) whatever the number of Kata presented (1 or 2 Kata = 20 euros). The entry fee is paid at the moment of the inscription or registration. Only french competitors can pay with bank cheques. Bank transfers have to be made on the Judo Club de Touraine’s bank account (LCL Bank). Bank details on request.

RESPONSABILITY The competitors have to be members of a Judo Federation and possessed medical certificate up to date. The participants must be 18 years old and over.
III. JUDGING 3.1
COMPETITION FORMULA Competition will be shared in groups per Kata. The top three pairs of each group will compete in a final of 6 pairs.
3.2
JUDGES Each country can enter 1 or 2 qualified Kata Judges. France will enter as many as necessary. Page 3

JUDGES MEETING : Friday, April 13, 2012 from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Hotel : Holiday Inn Tours Centre (15 rue Edouard Vaillant – 37000 TOURS)

POINT SYSTEM The maximum points and minimum points awarded for each technique are cancelled and the remaining notes to calculate the average of the final score. Each technique is evaluated with the following method: Each technique is scored out of 10 points OPENING CEREMONY is scored out of 10 points CLOSING CEREMONY is scored out of 10 points GENERAL IMPRESSION (fluidity, rhythm, course) is scored out of 10 points

RESPONSABILITY The competitors have to be members of a Judo Federation and possessed medical certificate up to date. Foreigners must be current membership of their Federation and UEJ. French players have to possessed a passeport with 2 licence stamps at least and a medical authorization.
III. RULES 3.1
COMPETITION FORMULA Individual competition : by age and weight. Round robin and draw with double repechage No weight tolerance. Contest duration :
3 minutes for under 59 years old players 2 minutes 30 seconds from 60 to 69 years old players 2 minutes over 70 years.
FFJDA (French Federation) and UEJ (European Federation) rules. 3.3
REFEREES Each country can enter 1 or 2 qualified Referees. France will enter as many as necessary.
