4. FIRST AID MEASURES General advice
:
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing including shoes
Inhalation
:
Move patient from contaminated area to fresh air. In case of problems : Consult a physician.
Skin contact
:
Remove any excess of product. Wash immediately with plenty of a solution of 2% acetic acid in water, then with soap and water to obtain a lather, rinse abundantly and copiously with water.
Eye contact
:
Wash open eyes immediately with plenty of water, then with a 0.5 % solution of acetic acid. Rinse abundantly and thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately
Ingestion
:
Do NOT induce vomiting. Take victim immediately to hospital.
Suitable extinguishing media
:
Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder extinguishers. Use suitable means to extinguish neighbouring fires.
Specific hazards
:
Possible formation of carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and hazardous organic compounds.
Specific methods
:
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Provide water supplies, ocular fountains and showers near the point of use. Provide a catch-tank in a bunded area Wear impermeable insulated gloves when handling hot.

Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Take all necessary measures to prevent accidentalspillages of the product from entering into drains and water courses in the event of failure of containers or transfer systems.
