Dear euro ultimate lovers, Mucche al Pascolo, the Ultimate team of Bergamo, is pleased to invite you to the “D.I.B. ‘13 - you never forget the 1st time!”, the first - and thus unforgettable - edition of our outdoor Mixed tournament which will takes place in Bergamo, during the w/e of 13/14 July 2013! For those who don’t know (shame on you! ;) ), Bergamo is a beautiful city (we are sure you will fall in love with the old upper part of it!) located in the North part of Italy, 40km east of Milan, very easy to reach, cheaply, from almost everywhere thanks to the airport of Orio al Serio which is one of the main Ryanair (but not only!) centre of connection in Europe (it’s usually called Milan – Orio al Serio but it’s actually the airport of Bergamo). The tournament will take place in Stezzano, which is a smallest town very close to Bergamo and to Orio al Serio airport (only 8 klm!) in a big sport centre where you will find 4 regular and excellent Ultimate fields (2 on artificial grass and 2 on natural grass, very nice, where usually play matches a high level football team) and everything else you need within 100 meters! Camping area, bar /restaurant, a big covered area where to have breakfast/lunch/dinner and socialize and relax during and above all after the games, toilet, changing rooms, party location! Who knows?... :) ) 16 medium-high level Mixed teams since we realized that this could be a great occasion to play hard (and party hardier!) for those teams aiming to qualify for the XEUCF 2013 and , so, that will have to extend the “regular” season (to be in shape for the end of august when, probably, there will be the regional qualification to the final stage) but that might have problems to find Mixed tournaments where playing hard after Talampaya and Windmill. Said this, of course, the tournament is opened to everybody else too! Other details like cost (but it’s gonna be cheap enough!), length of game (we’d like to offer you 5/6 games of 80 minutes as in XEUCF), deadlines to subscribe, etc. will follow lately. So far we would like that you sign on your team calendar the date and discuss about before getting drunk during your Xmas team dinner! As you know, organizing a new tournament in a year full of events (European Beach, Worlds U23, Europen U20, XEUCF, etc.) it’s not easy.
