PREAMBLES JAR-23 This issue of JAR-23 is based on FAR 23 at Amendment 23-42 but also takes account of proposals made for NPRMs 90-18 and 90-23. However, as the Final Rules for these NPRMs have now been published all differences from FAR 23 up to Amendment 23-45 (excluding Amendment 23-44) have been underlined.
Amendment 1
Effective: 1 February 2001
The purpose of this Amendment, published 1 February 2001, is to introduce NPA 23-3, Flight Test Guide and ACJ material, into JAR-23 Section 2 and to introduce a number of corrections of miscellaneous errors in JAR-23 Section 1. On the occasion of this Amendment the underlining signifying differences with the FAR 23 have also been reviewed and amended accordingly. At the same time the amendment status of the paragraphs have been included in the JAR.
Title page and verso Revision to title page date, status, and JAA publisher details. Revision to verso page to revise the list of member countries.
Contents Revision of titles and page numbering where necessary and introduction of Section 2 material.
